PHONE/MAIL GUIDELINES

  1. Phone use is permitted on Monday through Friday, starting at 11:10 AM to 11:50 AM or 5:10 PM to 5:50 PM. 
  2. Telephone calls are limited to one 20 minute phone call per week. If you talk for 5 minutes, the phone time will count as 20 minutes.
  3. Calls are made on the phone in the office. Follow the proper procedure for logging the phone call.
  4. Only approved family members are allowed to be contacted.
  5. Any violation of phone privileges will result in the loss of future phone use.
  6. We have many men in the program, please be courteous and notify the next person on the phone list when the phone is available.
  7. The phone sign up sheet is available in the Hallway.
  8. If YOU are from out of town, phone time will be extended to 30 minutes: Two 15 minute phone calls per week or one 30 minute phone call per week.
  9. If you need the phone to communicate with your Parole/Probation Officer and/or Lawyer, notify staff and the phone will be made available.
  10. All phone calls are monitored
  11. Residents are allowed to send and receive mail from approved family members only.


VISITATION GUIDELINES

Visitation is for family members and starts six weeks after the student's arrival. Families will have to complete the Family Recovery classes. Families may come to Sunday Service and leave immediately after the service until the six week adjustment period is over.

Then the following guidelines will apply:

  1. Visitation for Saturday begins at 1:00 PM and is over at 5:30 PM. Visitation on Sunday starts at 11:00 AM and is over at 5:30 PM.
  2. Visitation is for approved family* members only.
  3. Visitation is a privilege.
  4. Visitors are only permitted to be in the day room, visitation room, or in view of the ministry if outside. Visitors may use the sanctuary bathroom. No visitor is permitted past the hallway.
  5. All Children must have adult supervision at all times.
  6. Visitors are to adhere to all program guidelines. Students are to inform visitors of the program guidelines. It is your responsibility.
  7. Any visitor who violates the visitation guidelines will be asked to leave the ministry grounds immediately.
  8. Anything that is brought into the ministry for a student by a family member must be checked in by a staff member. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  9. Do not use a family member's cell phone. 


*Approved family members are spouses, siblings and approved sponsors.

PASSES
PASSES ARE FOR FAMILY VISITS ONLY

Students are eligible for a weekend pass with an approved family member after their sixteenth weekend. If the student has followed all pass guidelines, other weekend passes will be issued every other weekend.


  1. A pass is required to leave the ministry.
  2. For medical or legal reasons, a special request form is needed.
  3. Examples of possible sponsors for a pass: parents, spouses and approved sponsors, Immediate family members
  4. Passes are to be applied for 24 hours before leaving on a pass and must be approved and signed before leaving on a pass.
  5. You may leave on a weekend pass Friday at 5:00 PM and return by 11:00 AM on Sunday for the church. You may leave following the Sunday Service and return by 8:00 PM. Coming in late on a pass may result in not being able to leave on another pass.
  6. All rules must be followed while on pass. No medications (NyQuil, Cough medicines, or Tobacco Products) will be allowed while away from the ministry or while on the pass. Passes are a privilege; Do not abuse them. REMEMBER, NO NICOTINE PRODUCTS ARE ALLOWED.
  7. Students are not to go off by themselves. They are to be with their approved sponsor or family member at ALL times.


Passes will be granted only to students working a satisfactory program.



VIOLATION OF THESE POLICIES WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF PHONE OR MAIL PRIVILEGES.
