A LETTER FROM OUR DIRECTOR

Hello!  Thank you for taking time to visit our website!

My name is Eli Velasquez and I have been the executive director of our regeneration program here at Genesis Ministries for over ten (10) years now. I have been involved in ministry for over 35 years and bring my experience and compassion for God's people into helping men recover from the ravages of addiction.  My wife, Susan, and I manage the "day to day" operations of the residential program here in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Genesis has helped countless families become healthy and productive ones through our Christ-centered approach. We accomplish this through Bible studies, drug and alcohol education, spiritual guidance, family recovery meetings, recreation/work activities and church attendance.

For the men and their families, the recovery process is a long personal journey requiring courage and the support of those who love and care for them. Recovery from the snare of addictive, mood altering substances requires the truth of the word of God and the commitment and concentrated efforts of all involved.
