Ashley's Testimony - A Wife's Perspective

Hello, my name is Ashley . My husband, Keith, is a graduate of Genesis Ministries. We have two beautiful children, Jaxon and Adison. Our lives before Genesis and God can only be described as “a mess”. We were broken. We were both addicts trying to raise two small children. We thought we had it all figured out, that no one knew our “secret”. We were so wrong….everyone knew.

Because they knew, and prayed for us, that is why God lead Keith and I to Genesis. We lost everything we owned. We almost lost our children too.  From the very first time I walked into Genesis I knew that it was where God wanted Keith to be. I went into a program too and graduated in August of 2007. While in my program I established my relationship with God.

After I graduated I came to Genesis to support Keith and to further my relationship with God. Not only did Genesis help Keith establish his personal relationship with God it also allowed me to continue mine and grow stronger in my faith. Keith graduated in March of 2008 and we continue to attend church at Genesis every Sunday. And we continue to see God work in our lives everyday. We have gained so much more than we lost.

We have gained many great friends and most importantly we have gained a personal relationship with God. It is only because of Him that Keith and I are still here and still a family. He is helping us  restore  and heal our relationship with each other and with our family. There is nothing that God cannot do. He is above all things.
